About the Fearless Fish Share

The Fearless Fish Market Fish Share is a program where people sign up to get a weekly or every-other week package of seasonal, local fish (fillet), delivered to a location of their choosing.

In talking to our customers, we realized there was an opportunity to make it easier for people to eat more fish. It gives customers the opportunity to try new types of fish they might not choose themselves and a mindless way to increase fish consumption.

Every week, you will receive an email reminding you of your fish share, what fish it is, and basic recommendations for how to cook it.

$24/week for 2 servings of fillet (about 1lb)

$48/week for 4 servings of fillet (about 2lbs)

  • Pickup: Tuesdays, between 3pm and 6pm

Frequently Asked Questions

Wait a minute, the fish I got last week was only $16/lb in your shop! Why are you ripping me off? Two things: A. We baked in some administrative costs to running the program. B. Sometimes the fish will cost more than the share price, sometimes it will cost less, we intend for it to balance out over time

How do I cook it? Every week, you will receive an email reminding you of your fish share, what fish it is, and basic recommendations for how to cook it.

What kind of fish is it? We will select a wild caught fish landed in one of our New England ports each week. Expect items like: Hake, Pollock, Monkfish, Skatewing, Black Bass, Flounder, tuna, swordfish and more.

Can I skip a week? Yes, you can put your share on hold up to three days before your delivery. For example, you would have until Sunday at Midnight to put your Wednesday share on hold.

What if I forget to pick it up? Unclaimed shares will go home with an employee at your pick up location.

Can I change it once I sign up? Yes. You have up until three days prior to your delivery to make changes. You can log into your account to change your pick up location, share option and share frequency.

What if I have dietary restrictions? If there are certain fish you cannot eat due to allergies or religious observation, please let us know and we will accommodate you.

What if I don’t like this week’s fish? Unfortunately, it is against the design and spirit of the Fish Share program to skip a week because you do not like that week’s fish.
